Have you ever seen dew,
Imperfectly placed on morning petal?
Comfortably sitting askew
Softly on all of nature’s hues
Its one of my favorite things

Have you ever seen a malformed wave?
Suddenly energy from the deep
Ill-defined curves, and edges that dont behave
But become glorious silver under the moon’s embrace

Have you ever seen a mishapen cloud?
How could you be so buoyant?
Lumpy and carefree under the gaze of the crowd
Drifting, as you shower us with abundance
Its one of my favorite things

Have you ever seen an unlovable woman?
You are drawn into the captivating vastness of her eyes
You are drowned in waves of those whites
Soft voice, softer soul
Searching for resistance
I give in to her command
That’s one of my favorite things

Have you ever seen an unworthy self?
How decisions pop-up like hiccups
How agonies appear over shape and sizes
How it harbors the deepest insecurity, a thirst to be loved?
